Me as a Cartoonist

From my school days itself, I started learning drawing and painting and won several prizes in school level competitions. When I was in 10th standard my art teacher Job sir asked me to participate in Cartooning competition in the youth festival. Cartooning was a new thing for me. But with his encouragement and support , that year I won the1st prize in Cartooning in the Kerala State School Youth Festival. From then onwards I concentrated in cartooning and won several prizes including two national awards in the university level for cartooning.

And when the time came to choose a career, I chose cartooning and designing for a living. For almost 4 years I worked as freelance Live caricature artist (wondering what!!!!, A Live Caricature Artist draws a person live in 3 or 4 minutes) along with my job in Amartya. And when I started Photogift India, due to the busy work schedule, I slowly took“voluntary retirement” from Live shows
